4 days ago, my husban bent over and felt a “catch” in his lower back, immediately followed by severe pain/spasm. He couldn’t straighten up and couldn’t move. His doctor said it was a pulled muscle, injected his lower back with steroids, gave him flexeril, roxicet and a long acting Naprosyn. The next few days he had severe spasms and wasn;t able to getout of bed. Today, he’s able to walk for a few minutes but can’t lean forward or reach forward at all. Could this be a disc problem?
Carisoprodol, Fioricet, Tramadol

Yikes! Is your husband feeling better now? I hope it’s not a disc problem – don’t want it turning into any chronic or more severe pain that’s for sure. There are some things he can do to heal his back pain or bulging discs etc naturally – I found that http://www.howtohealmyback.com was helpful. Maybe he’ll find it helpful too.
Taking Fioricet
My mom has disks problems. if he was able to get up at least for a little while after a few days then it was just a pulled muscle. My mom is usually in bed for a month or 2, and can’t get up not even to use the bathroom. she can’t even move from excruciating pain. no its not a disk problem just a pull.
