Arm Muscle feels different?

hey my arm muscle was feeling weird yesterday in the middle of my workout. I could bend my left arm but it took some effort. It didn’t hurt at all. Its just sore the next day. At first i felt happy like this was a sign i was getting results and all the workouts are paying off, but then i talked to my friend and he said it could have been a muscle spasm or something.
