Me and my bf went to the hospital last night because we were withdrawing from oxycodones. My bf had a script for them but because of his job couldn’t get into his doctor witout loosing his job. So the doctor came in and asked him question about what he was taking, he told him he was taking the oxys and occasionly weed and zanaflex and they did a drug test on him and the doctor said the test said that he had benzoides in his system so the doctor said he didnt trust him and looked up his name on the controlled substance list and found his doctors name and the dosage and how many pills he was getting, and since he just started going to that doctor for his back pain he went back more than he should have because it hurt his back doing his job. So i was just wondering if it was legal for the doctor to look up his information on that because i thought there was something called doctor patient provilage where they couldn’t do that. But now they say that they put me and him on the controlled substance list so if we were to go to a doc to try and get pain meds we would get arrested. If anyone out there is a lawyer or knows anything about this type of stuff plz help because he cant do his job w/o pain meds. Plz forgive my spelling =/.
no J, thats not right, we were not and are not trying to scam anything from anybody, we just went to the hospital because we wanted something to get alot of the side effects to quit. That was the whole point of us going, which didnt even work out that way for my bf, he just got a shot in which they actually gave me a IV and give me meds for anxity and a little pain medicine for my legs. So no, that is not correct at all. My bf took his meds as directed also, unless he was hurting more so during work. Other than that it was taken as directed by the Dr.
