Anne S asked:
Does anyone else have? I’ve had it for 3 and a half years now. I’ve been in and out of wheel chairs and in and out of the hospital. I’m only 16! They say I’m going to have it for the rest of my life… is it really worth living with? I could get something surgically put into my spine to see if that helps with blocking the pain and I’m sure its better then steroids, but theres always a chance It could cause more pain. and I’m not sure if I want to go through with surgery, not sure if the surgeon that they suggested would either.
Then they talk about this camp in Philadelphia that they send you to for recovery. It’s suppose to be some sort of camp where you exercise for over 7hr a day and the endorfens are suppose to block the pain…. I don’t exercise for 7 hr a day but I exercise for at least 2 1/2 a day and I’m in even more pain afterwards when the adrenalines gone and I can’t even move even with the help of meds.

Does anyone have any suggestions that they can use as a reference to their own experiences?
